Curriculum Highlights:
* ELA- We finished "Charlotte's Web" just in time for our field trip! We focused on interesting vocabulary words, defining them, identifying synonyms, and writing them in sentences. We also learned how to use quotation marks in our writing! In Spelling, we took Week #7 post test and will take Week #8 pre-test today (Monday). To study at home, click on Spelling City on our Resources page. We continue to practice opinion writing.
* Math- We took a formative assessment on Measuring and will begin geometry soon. Please continue to review double and triple digit addition and subtraction at home. Being fluid with math facts is most helpful, too!
* Earth Systems and Landforms unit- we will be looking at vocabulary and parts of speech this week.
* STEM- we built leprechaun traps using collaboration, classroom items, and creativity! Lucky the Leprechaun visited over the weekend and made a mess, left a couple of mischievous messages, and rewarded us for our efforts!
Coming Home Today:
Please look out for Spelling Pre-tests and Pedestrian Pledges that need your signature. Thank you!
