Sweet Surprise of the Week:
It is 8:15 Friday morning and I am walking briskly towards Morning Lineup, navigating my way through the crowd of children and parents, when I hear a voice yell, excitedly, "That's her!!" I turn towards the voice and see a sweet first grader pointing directly at me. I stop in my tracks, like a deer caught in headlights. Her mother approaches me and asks, "What is your name?" Curious, I tell her. She responds, "My daughter wants you as her 2nd grade teacher and didn't know your name! We've been on the lookout for you all week long!"
Hope your week is full of sweet surprises!
