It was another busy week in 2nd grade! We completed our NWEA testing week and am so proud of the perseverance and growth mindset students displayed!
Curriculum Highlights:
- ELA - We enjoyed working on our individual and collaborative writing projects on our chrome books; many writers participated in Writer's Share this week! I shared some opinion writing of my own! We are enjoying E.B. White's "Stuart Little" and practicing our Reading Reflection Strategies.
- Math - We examined 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional shapes and identified their attributes. We continue to practice telling time, counting money, and our math facts.
- Science - Our bean plants are sprouting! We painted our favorite landform in water colors.
